Quality, dreams and inspiration

When Grey Ghost Bakery was but a dream, we started off by making our family recipes in larger and larger batches, to see if the recipes would work in “business-sized” quantities. We had to do something with all those test cookies, so we sent them to our oldest son who was a freshman in college at the time. He and his buddies at the University of Georgia were our first taste-testers! These cookies were our family’s favorites as our children were growing up, and it was fun to hear that the guys in the dorm thought they were pretty good too!

 Fast forward a few years, and we now know that everyone who tries Grey Ghost cookies loves them! But, just to be sure that the quality has remained the same, we still go back to our original quality control experts for their opinions from time to time. We are back at Pawleys Island for our annual gathering of family and friends and it looks like Grey Ghost Bakery cookies are still putting smiles on cookie lovers’ faces!

 

Pawleys Island continues to restore and inspire, as it always has…this is where it all started!
